Johnny Monster new single "Os Pássaros" this Thursday, the 10th . The video, which can be seen at the end of this article, was directed by Ricardo Yamamoto .
The track, which has a hypnotic rhythm and several layers of instruments, alludes to the birds that sing in the city as soon as dawn breaks. The music video, therefore, shows the musician in the city of São Paulo through black and white images captured by a drone.
“Os Pássaros” is part of the new album A Nova Era Do Só Você , which will be released later in 2023 via ForMusic Records and follows Futuro Reflexo (2022). The album differs from Johnny's other works by exploring “Brazilian psychedelic folk country rock”, bringing a vintage sound inspired by the 60s and 70s.
